Sammy Linebaugh ReportingStraight from music row in Nashville, the famous "Blue Bird Cafe" is coming to Utah.
This summer, Sundance Resort will become a country music mecca inviting nearly two dozen of the industry's biggest song writers to perform the original versions of songs that helped artists like George Strait and Reba McIntyre hit the big time.
Ray Grant, Sundance Executive Director: "These singer-songwriters will create some concerts with commentary where they'll talk about what inspired their songs, how they got the call from Garth Brooks to write the song, or how Kathy Matthea came across the song that had been written years ago." ¶
Tickets range between seven and 15 dollars and the concerts will run through July and August.
Some big name performers are also expected to drop in during the Saturday night shows.
