KSL NewsThe tires of a tanker truck caught fire this morning on I-15 just north of Lehi,and the hazard closed southbound lanes for about half an hour.
Photographs showed the bottom of the truck engulfed in flames and smoke.
Utah Highway Patrol says the tanker was carrying some type of flammable petroleum. Luckily, fire crews were able to put out the flames before the truck could explode.
No injuries were reported.
