(KSL News) -- New fire restrictions take effect statewide today. The restrictions apply to private, state and federal lands in Utah.
Camp fires and charcoal briquettes are prohibited, except in developed recreation sites. Gas stoves are still OK.
The new rules remain in effect until further notice. They apply statewide, except for the High Uintas wilderness area.
