(KSL News) -- A Trax train and car collided this afternoon, sending three people to the hospital.
Trax officials say a van was going eastbound on 500 south, when it turned left in front of the train. Three people inside the van were taken to the hospital. The driver and a 7 year old boy suffered minor injuries. A 12 year old girl is listed in serious to critical condition.
No one on the Trax train was injured.
