(KSL News) -- The driver of a Trax train involved in a collision yesterday has admitted he was in the wrong.
The train was westbound on 5th south and hit an eastbound minivan that was attempting a left hand turn onto 13th east. A young girl was seriously injured.
The Trax driver told Salt Lake Police detectives today that warning lights were telling him to stop, but he went through the intersection the way a motorist runs a red light.
No word yet on what charges or citations he might face.
