PROVO -- The Provo office of the Census Bureau is looking to hire 1,200 people to knock on doors between March and July.
The office is in charge of counting residents from 20 counties. The area spans all the way from Provo to St. George. It is one of three offices charged with tracking the state's population for the 2010 Census.
Those interested in applying for one of those positions can call the national Census hotline at 866-861-2010 or the Utah Census hotline at 801-616-5030.
Applicants will be asked to take a basic skills test. Those who score highest will be hired first.
