(KSL News) -- Authorities arrested a man in Beaver County today after finding more than 190 pounds of marijuana in his pick-up truck.

A Highway Patrol trooper pulled the suspect over on I-15 during a routine traffic stop. As he approached the driver he became suspicious and searched the vehicle.

The trooper smelled marijuana so he arrested the suspect and had the truck towed away. Authorities later found the stash hidden in a compartment in the back of the truck bed.

Angel Alberto Nunez is charged with distribution of a controlled substance with the intent to distribute.
