(KSL News) -- Karl Malone fans, circle this Friday, August 8th, on your calendars.
That's when the Mailman will be holding a farewell celebration, to thank his long-time Utah Jazz fans. Malone and his wife held a news conference this morning to announce the free festivities.
And although Malone says it is short notice, he knows the real fans will be there.
The celebration begins at 5 o'clock on Friday at the Delta Center... and Karl says the party will go until whenever.
There will be autographed Malone memorabilia available... and of course, lots of free hots dogs and soda.
