(KSL News) Your gas bill could soon be going up.
A new proposal would shift over $1.5 million in costs to 830,000 Utahns. That's a monthly rate increase of 19 cents per household.
The additional charge will help Questar extend gas lines to rural areas.
Opponents say they don't like the idea that a majority of customers will cover costs for the minority. They also say Questar should be able to pinpoint its exact cost of extending gas lines.
