OGDEN -- Ogden Clinic will provide free flu shots to Utah's homeless and working poor this Friday, Dec. 11 from 2 to 5 p.m. The shots will be given at the Ogden Rescue Mission located on 2775 Wall Ave. in Ogden.

"This service means a great deal to the transient and working poor in our community. The Ogden Rescue Mission is an all-volunteer clinic that relies on organizations such as the Ogden Clinic. The free flu shots will provide those that would normally not receive them access and information to health care that they need," said Donna Seager, co-founder and coordinator of the Ogden Rescue Mission.

More than 100 people are anticipated to receive the free flu shot on Friday.
