(KSL News) -- A recent wildfire in Tooele County is forcing the temporary travel restrictions to recreation areas near Stockton.

The Bureau of Land Management has discovered high levels of lead and arsenic in the nearly 13-hundred acres that burned in the Bauer Fire early last month.

To allow successful rehabilitation efforts, no motorized vehicles will be allowed in the Alma Young and Mitchell Canyon areas until July 31st of 2005. The closed area is marked off with fencing and signs. Violators will be fined.
