(KSL News) -- Several fire crews responded to a grass fire near Interstate 215 today.
The fire started just west of the freeway and seventh north exit. Authorities say dry conditions, extreme heat and a lot of wind forced the blaze to quickly spread, burning about 30 acres in 45 minutes.
Crews were able to quickly contain the blaze, before it threatened any structures.
Officials are still investigating the cause.
