The Utah Food Bank is asking for help. The Food Bank has a new economic index to forecast how many Utahns need food. And it predicts that over the next three months, there will be a 33-percent shortfall between food donations, and what hungry families really need.
The Food Bank says donations are down since most people give around Christmas time.
They are now asking for summer time donations to ease the forecasted hunger gap.
The Food Bank is located at 1025 S. 700 West.
