(KSL News) -- Police are looking for a possible connection between two crimes.

They arrested three suspects for forging checks stolen from an LDS meetinghouse, the same meetinghouse in Kearns that burned earlier this month.

Police say Angel Diaz Juarez, Rigoberto Solano, and Federico Barfusson tried to cash checks that were taken from a church clerk's office.

Arson investigators still do not know whether they are connected to the fire. Police are again looking for Diaz-Juaraz; after he was booked and released on bail, he disappeared.
