(Magna-AP) -- Seven people have been evicted from a Magna home after health workers found the place to be unsanitary and overrun with pets.
The Salt Lake County Animal Services says 14 dogs, 25 cats, four turtles, three birds and an iguana lived in the house.
Neighbors had been complaining of bad odors coming from the house near 8900 West.
A spokeswoman for Animal Services says the animals weren't being mistreated -- there were just too many of them in a small area.
Regulations limit the number of dogs and cats that can live in a single home. Some of the confiscated pets will be put up for adoption if they are found to be suitable.
