(KLS News) The car that hit and killed three members of a Salt Lake family may have nearly hit another car just moments before. Now police want to find the driver of that car, as a possible witness to the fatal crash.

Chris Williams, who lost his wife and two children in the accident, says he saw the suspect's vehicle force a dark-colored car off the road. That car nearly hit a fence before the driver regained control.

The accident happened on 2000 East on Friday, February 9, around 9:40 p.m.

Anyone with information about the identity of the driver of that car is asked to call the Salt Lake Police Department.
