(West Valley City-AP) -- A West Valley City man is planning to push his limits at the Utah State Fair next month.

Former clown K-C Williams will be trying to break his own world record. He'll try to blow up 700 balloons in an hour.

He already is recognized in the Guinness Book of World Records for the 468 balloons he blew up back in 2000.

To reach his new milestone, he'll have to blow up and tie off a balloon every five seconds -- using only his mouth and hands -- and keep it up for an hour.

To prepare, Williams tells the Deseret Morning News that there's no substitute for practice. He also says he's careful to trim his fingernails and wear hand lotion -- to cut down on the number of balloons that pop in the process.

His first attempt at breaking the record will be September seventh.
