(KSL News) -- If Governor Leavitt does go to Washington, he could find himself quickly heading back to Utah for some unfinished business.

Sources tell the Associated Press he remains on a list of possible Justice Department witnesses to testify at the Olympic bribery trial.

Leavitt is expected to be called to testify he was misled about the tainted bid for the 2002 Winter Games. Leavitt acknowledged at a meeting of governors, in Indianapolis that he would likely be called to testify.

The trial is set to begin October 28th.
