(KSL News) -- Orem, Utah police have identified the man killed by officers during an armed standoff on Monday.

25- year old Russell Ray Clark was shot and killed by several officers when they returned fire.

Clark had fired the first shot, grazing one officer.

Police, had been negotiating with Clark after he was involved in a chase with a stolen car and, crashed into a house.

Clark's only ties to Utah is a Provo school for troubled teens, where Clark attended in high school.
