AMERICAN FORK, Utah (AP) -- An Orem man has been arrested in connection with the rape of his girlfriend while she was apparently under the influence of prescription medicine.
A police report says the woman --- who takes medications for night terrors --- told authorities her 23-year-old boyfriend would wait until she had taken the pills before having nonconsensual sex with her.
Police records say the alleged rapes occurred on two or three occasions between April and May of last year. According to the police report, the woman asked her boyfriend to stop and said "no" on all of the occasions.
The man has been booked into the Utah County Jail for investigation of rape.
