(Salt Lake City-AP) -- A member of the King Mafia Disciples street gang was given a 32-year federal prison sentence yesterday.

Miguel Flores pleaded guilty to a single racketeering charge.

It's the first time that federal prosecutors in Utah have used a law called the RICO act to take down a street gang.

The law is usually used in prosecuting the Mafia.

About ten King Mafia Disciples members were arrested in the Utah bust in May of 2002. Charges are still pending against some of the other gang members.
