(KSL News) -- The Primary election in Utah is just a little over six weeks away and the Salt Lake's Mayor's race is heating up.
According to a brand new poll for KSL-TV and the Deseret Morning News, it could be close.
Dan Jones and Associates interviewed 415 Salt Lake City residents and asked, "If the primary election were held today for whom would you most likely vote?"
Forty-one percent of those polled say they would vote for current Salt Lake City Mayor, Rocky Anderson. Twenty-seven percent say they would cast their vote for challenger, Frank Pignanelli. And 17-percent say Molonai Hola would get their vote.
