(KSL News) -- Utah's rate of traffic fatalities is higher than the national average. That's the finding in the latest Utah Transportation profile, just released by the U.S. Department of Transportation.
The study also showed that Utahns drive more miles than residents of most other states. We pay a state gasoline tax that is among the highest in the nation and we travel on road surfaces that are in relatively good shape.
