(KSL News) -- An apparent gang fight leaves a security guard injured at Valley Fair Mall.
Police responding to a drunk and disorderly call, came upon the fight outside the mall's food court over the weekend.
Officers and security guards tried to break up the fight -- and started chasing those involved when they ran. During the scuffle, one security guard was hit in the back of the head. He was treated at a local hospital and released.
Several men were taken into custody -- no word yet on any charges being filed.
