(Virgin-AP) -- The Virgin Town Council has selected council member Kenny Cornelius as mayor pro tem.
He will fill in if Mayor Jay Lee is absent or unable to perform his duties.
Lee and former town clerk Stacy Noelle Higbee are charged with misuse of public funds.
