(KSL News) -- Police have arrested a suspect wanted for stabbing a woman earlier today.
Investigators say the suspect and the victim apparently knew each other and were inside an apartment when the supect stabbed the woman several times in the neck.
The suspect then fled and the woman was taken to LDS Hospital with minor wounds to her neck.
Police later caught the suspect nearby. They say he is a known gang member. But authorities still do not know why he assaulted the woman.
