(KSL News) -- Utah Highway Patrol troopers got some big bucks for this weekend's Drunk Driving Blitz.
Members of the Utah Auto Dealers Association handed over a $5,000 dollar check earlier today. The money will fund UHP's annual Labor Day weekend crackdown of drunk drivers.
Traditionally there are more accidents and drunk driving incidents during the holiday weekend because so many people are out on the roads.
Troopers hope the donation will help make Utah's highways a little safer.
