(KSL News) -- TRAX operators took to the tracks today to prepare for the opening of UTA's newest light rail extension.
The operators began training on the new Medical Center line. The line begins north of the Stadium Station, runs east along South Campus drive, through the roundabout, then turns north on Wasatch Drive and continues on to Medical Center Drive. It ends near the University Health Sciences Center.
Operators will continue testing it out until the official opening date, which is September 29th.
