(Cedar City-AP) -- The Utah Highway Patrol makes some big busts over the Labor Day weekend.
Officers busted a suspect Saturday for having 10-pounds of methamphetamine in the tailgate of his truck.
The meth was valued at 450-thousand dollars and was bound for Salt Lake City.
The U-H-P busted a second person Saturday just north of St. George for having 90-pounds of marijuana in his S-U-V.
That bust was worth 145-thousand dollars.
Officers made a third big bust on Sunday near the Kanarraville rest stop along Interstate-15.
They recovered one kilo of cocaine in the firewall of a vehicle worth 80-thousand dollars.
All three suspects were stopped for various traffic violations but officers found probable cause to search the vehicles.
