Cougar fans can watch BYU Basketball recruit DeMarcus Harrison online tonight, as Christ School (Arden, NC) takes on prep powerhouse Findlay (Henderson, NV) in the 14th Annual Marhsall County Hoops Fest in Benton, KY.

The game can be streamed at's website, and starts at 9:00pm, MST.

A 6'4", 175lb. wing from Greenwood, SC, Harrison has offers from BYU, Virginia, and College of Charleston, and has attracted the attention of numerous other schools, including North Carolina and Wake Forest. Harrison is LDS; Scouts, Inc. (which ranks Harrison as the Class of 2011's #16 SG nationally) had this to say about him in its most recent evaluation:

"Harrison has all the tools to be a special player. He is a smooth wing that is long and athletic.

Harrison is terrific at making scoring moves off the dribble where he takes smaller defenders deep into the lane and simply shoots over them.

Harrison moves well without the ball as he reads penetration and slides to the open area preparing to attack. He has an excellent mid range jumper off the catch that he uses a one or two bounce rhythm dribble to get it off. He is a decent rebounder that can push the ball and will take it coast to coast if not controlled by the transition defense.

He must add strength but Harrison has game controlling offensive skills. He can defend both guard positions and is fun to watch attack on the offensive end of the floor."

BYU quarterback-to-be Jake Heaps plays for a third straight Washington state high school championship on Saturday night. Heaps plans to graduate from high school early and be in Provo for Winter Semester conditioning and Spring Football.

In addition, highly-touted signees WR Ross Apo and LB Lyle Van Noy will be enrolled for Winter Semester and take part in spring ball.
