SALT LAKE CITY (AP) -- One of the two men accused in the kidnapping of a woman last year and then stuffing her in the truck of a car has entered a guilty plea.

Yesterday, 20-year-old Isaac Leroy Lujan pleaded guilty to second-degree kidnapping as part of a plea deal. In exchange, prosecutors dropped a charge of second-degree aggravated assault.

Lujan was charged along with Ignacio Anthony Sanchez in connection with the kidnapping of Sanchez's girlfriend last September. Police say she managed to escape the trunk of the car, which turned out to be stolen.

Lujan is scheduled to be sentenced on April 2nd.

Meanwhile, Sanchez also faces several charges. His trail is set to begin in March.
