(KSL News) -- Thousands of dogs and cats in Utah's shelters want to be adopted by loving families this weekend and to live happily ever after.
To get the word out that these friends need fairy tale endings, "No More Homeless Pets in Utah" put together a "furry tail" of sorts.
The dream cast included a four-legged Cinderella and of course her fairy dogmother. And perched atop a stack of luxurious dog mattresses is none other than the "Princess and the Pea."
The event is to promote the Super Pet Adoption going on now through Sunday in the Pet Smart parking lot on third West.
