SANDY -- In an open letter to the public, Real Salt Lake Head Coach Jason Kreis implores RSL fans to "wear your championship colors with pride, with boldness."
Kreis wrote the letter to thank fans for their "faith and belief in us as we captured MLS Cup 2009."
He called the fans the lifeblood and heartbeat in Seattle, where RSL beat the L.A. Galaxy to win the MLS Cup.
He asked fans to be confident, not complacent and to "be aggressive in helping us educate our city, our state, our region about not only what we have accomplished in 2009, but our long-term goals for 2010 and beyond."
Kreis indicates he isn't prepared to sit on this championship and is preparing to travel domestically and internationally "to bolster the depth, breadth and quality of our roster as we prepare for meaningful international competition." [CLICK HERE to read the entire letter]
