Susan Wood ReportingSome exciting news if you love the outdoors, and you like the newest equipment to head out there.

There's talk of a huge retail store coming to the Wasatch Front. In fact this one's so huge, some consider it a tourist attraction.

It's an outdoor lover's indoor haven, where trophy fish swim past you and quaint bridges cross a small river. And soon you may not have to wander far to find it.

Huge Retail Store Could Be Lehi's Next Tourist Attraction

According to Utah County Commissioner Gary Herbert, the huge sporting goods store Cabela's is seriously considering coming to town. But Cabela's won't say where, in fact everybody involved in the negotiations is keeping quiet about the deal.

Wherever it goes, it could mean 800 jobs for the store alone, and ultimately four thousand jobs for the entire area.

The place is so unique it would become a tourist attraction. Lehi has a lot to offer Cabela's, including a very visible location right off of I-15 in the middle of Utah's two most populous counties. And the city may be arranging even more incentives with private companies.

It could be such a good marriage, the city is even reportedly negotiating with nearby property owners for land swaps with Cabela's to make the deal happen.
