Summer road construction is now turning into Fall road construction as UDOT is trying to finish road repair along I-15 before bad weather hits.
UDOT crews today worked on placing a new travel messenger system along the Northbound I-15 corridor in hopes of giving drivers more information on possible delays.
There are two major lane restrictions along I-15 that go in effect this weekend. Northbound traffic will be cut down to two lanes bewteen 106th South and 45th South. That restriction starts at 8 p.m. tonight and will last until Monday morning at six.
Northbound I-15 will also be restricted to one lane between 2300 North and 2600 North from tonight at eight, until tomorrow at six a.m.
