(KSL News) After hitting several roadblocks, Governor Mike Leavitt has finally received some good news regarding his nomination as head of the Environmental Protection Agency.
The Western Governors' Association voted last night to endorse the Governor's nomination.
In a statement, the organization urged the U.S. Senate to act quickly on the nomination.
However, a number of Senators are vowing to stall the process. Senator John Edwards of North Carolina joined Senators Hillary Clinton and Joe Lieberman in promising to block the nomination until questions are answered about air quality reports at Ground Zero allegedly censored by the EPA.
