(KSL News)--Bill Gates is still the richest man in the nation, but in Utah there's a new man topping the list.
James Sorenson has surpassed Jon Huntsman as the state's top billionaire, according to Forbes magazine's annual ranking of the nation's 400 wealthiest individuals.
Forbes pegged the real estate magnate's net worth at 2.7 billion dollars. Huntsman, meanwhile, maintained his 2.5 billion dollar net worth, making him Utah's second richest man.
And Earl Holding, who's made his money on oil and resorts, came in third with a net worth of 1.2 billion dollars.
