(KSL News) -- Emergency officials participated in an accident simulation along the new TRAX medical center extension today.
The accident simulated a TRAX car collision with mass casulaties at a busy intersection.
UTA, University Police, Golden Metro Ambulance, and the Salt Lake City Fire Department all participated and say everything went pretty smoothly.
Roy Smith, Simulation Accident "Victim": "I think it was pretty good. From my point of view they did everything they could to make the passengers as comfortable as possible, and listen to them talk, they talked to my passenger."
The simulation was part of the federal certification process for opening the extension.
