(KSL News) -- Search crews have scaled back their efforts to find two hikers who disappeared in the Uinta Mountains nearly two weeks ago.
Teams of searchers have scoured the area around Crystal Lake on foot, horseback, and in the air since last weekend.
They're looking for 58-year old Carole Wetherton and her 39-year old daughter, Kimberly Beverly.
The two were last seen in Park City on September 9-th.
Their rented S-U-V was found parked at the Crystal Lake trailhead.
Maps inside seemed to indicate they were planning a day-hike to one of the many lakes in the area.
