(KSL News) A woman accused of drowning her grandduaghter will be in court today in Idaho.

Kelly Jean Lodmell is accused of kidnapping 19- month old Acacia Bishop and then dropping the child in the Snake river.

Lodmell claims she was trying to kill herself and the baby.

She is currently undergoing psychiatric evaluation. Today's court hearing will look at when that examination will be complete and Lodmell will stand trial.
