(KSL News) -- A semi overturned along state highway 201 this afternoon, dumping its load.
Troopers say the driver was heading westbound on 201 and took the ramp onto westbound Interstate 80 too fast.
The driver told troopers he realized his speed was too fast, but it was too late. He looked in the rear view mirror and saw his back tires leaving the roadway.
The semi was carrying a large load of pipe, which spilled over the railing and down the embankment. Neither the driver nor passenger were injured.
