(KSL News) -- Some 50-thousand people were without power in the North Ogden valley Thursday afternoon.
The black-out affected residents in North Ogden, Pleasantview and Harrisville. Utah Power officials, say a sub-station at the mouth of Ogden Canyon shut down causing the problem. Many were in the dark for almost three hours.
A lightning storm may have been the culprit. The black- out is still being investigated.
