(KSL News) The wet weather we've had is responsible for power outages across the Salt Lake Valley.
In the downtown area, traffic signals at several intersections between roughly North Temple and 500 South are out, and businesses, apartment buildings, and several hotels are also in the dark.
Rocky Mountain Power says less than 2,000 customers are affected in Salt Lake County. Within the last 15 minutes, crews restored power to about 1,000 customers in Tooele County.
The company told us that most of the power should be restored in about an hour (back on by 11:00 PM).
Crews will stay on the job until the power is back on.
