(KSL News) A distracted driver rams into a motorcyclist in West Valley City.
Police say the driver of the car was reaching down for his cell phone and when he looked up again, it was too late to avoid hitting the motorcycle, which was stopped at a traffic light.
The rear-end collision sent the bike crashing into the vehicle in front of it.
The motorcyclist was airlifted to the hospital with internal injuries. No one else was hurt.
