(KSL News) Two men suspected of robbing a dry cleaners in Layton are behind bars this morning after leading police on a high-speed chase through Davis County.

Police say the men robbed a Red Hanger Cleaners at gunpoint last night and then took off in their car. But Highway patrol troopers soon caught up with them.

Jed Jorgenson/ Highway Patrol: "Myself and another trooper located the vehicle southbound on I-15 just prior to Farmington. At that point, we tried to initiate a traffic stop. The vehicle did not stop. We then went into pursuit. Speeds reached about 90 miles per hour on the interstate."

The suspects got off the freeway in Bountiful, hit a curb while trying to avoid stopped traffic, and blew three tires in the process.

The men then got out of the car and ran. And that's when troopers caught them.
