(KSL News) Three children are in serious condition this morning following an accident on I-15 near Beck Street.
The Highway Patrol is blaming the crash on inattentive driving. They say the driver of a Trailways bus was traveling too fast and too close.

Trooper Jed Jorgenson/ Utah Highway Patrol: "We have construction going on southbound I-15 along the Salt Lake-Davis County line. Traffic was backed up because of the construction. The bus behind me came up on the traffic and was not able to stop. It rear-ended a white Expedition, which pushed it into a Honda Accord."
No one in the Accord was hurt.

All five passengers in the Expedition were taken to the hospital. Two children, ages 19 months and 4 years, had to be airlifted.
The bus driver was the only one on board the bus. Although in shock, he was not physically hurt, and he was given a ticket.
