(KSL News) There was a hairy protest in Lehi Friday night.
Until earlier this week, a group of women worked at Kivi's-- a hair salon that's been in Lehi for 27 years.
It was recently sold to a new owner, and the women thought they would carry on much the way they have in the past. But these women say the new owner abruptly sold the place and told them they no longer have jobs.
Kathy Hills/ Hair Stylist: "The owner took the books. She's locked the door. We have no way of getting our caller i.d. We have no phone numbers. We're basically without anything. We've got clients that don't know where we are. They've come to the salon. They're wandering around wondering 'Who's going to do our hair now?'"
Some of the hair dressers have set up shop temporarily in American Fork.
We contacted the new owner to get her side of the story. She hung up on us.
