(West Jordan-AP) -- A gym is being recognized for helping to pump up the West Jordan Police Department.
Lifestyles 2000 donated 100-thousand dollars to the police department.
Today Chief Ken McGuire will present a plaque to the fitness center's management for the donation.
The police department has worked with the gym in order to implement its physical fitness program.
Chief McGuire says the gym has helped the officers maintain and enhance their physical fitness levels required to perform their jobs.
An exercise room is also in the works for the officers at the gym.
