(KSL News) A prescribed burn is scheduled this morning outside of the town of Monticello.
A spokesperson for the Bureau of Land Management says this will be a black line burn -- meaning the flames will be lit by hand and closely monitored.
Around 600 acres are expected to be burned.
The BLM is under close scrutiny since a prescribed burn near Heber burned out of control last month.
