(KSL News) -- An 8-year old Roy girl was killed on her way home from school this afternoon.
She was riding her bike home when she was hit by a mini-van at the intersection of 2550 West and 6000 South.
The girl, whose name hasn't been released,died at the hospital a short time later.
Roy police are still investigating, but say neither speed nor alcohol played a role in the accident.
